Let's take one step at a time

Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling low, overwhelmed, or disconnected at times.

While these feelings are normal and a part of being human, they can become debilitating if they persist for too long.  Experiences of loss, change in circumstances, isolation, chaotic or unsafe family dynamics, relationship breakdown, and many other life stressors can have us feeling stuck, powerless or even hopeless. We may not even know we are sitting in depression or grief. This makes it hard to find motivation, enjoy daily life, connect with others, or feel good about ourselves.

Sometimes there are also feelings of shame, worthlessness, guilt or thoughts of not wanting to be here anymore. It's vitality important to reach out for help and support. You don't have to do this on your own. Isolating yourself can just make it worse.
