The brief therapy model.

Our brief therapy model is short-term approach to relationship counselling. Instead of the traditional long-term process, we focus on the here and now—helping couples work towards meaningful goals in a way that feels practical and achievable.

With targeted techniques designed to create positive change, many couples find that they can make real progress in just 5–8 sessions.

As well as general couples counselling, we deliver brief therapy through our Prepare Enrich Program and Discernment Counselling.

Prepare Enrich Program

The Prepare Enrich Program is one of the most trusted and widely researched tools available for couples counselling. It's designed to give you the insight, skills, and confidence to move forward in your relationship with clarity and a stronger foundation.

The program begins with a personalised snapshot of your relationship, created through a scientifically validated online questionnaire. This highlights your unique strengths and growth areas, which you'll explore with your counsellor across six sessions. Along the way, you’ll build a deeper understanding of each other, strengthen communication, and nurture your connection.

Discernment Counselling

This program is for couples facing significant difficulties, where one or both partners feel unsure about continuing the relationship. Usually held over five sessions, the goal is to help you find clarity and confidence about the best way forward.

With the support of your counsellor, you’ll explore what has brought your relationship to this point and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s perspectives. By the end, you and your partner will be in a clearer position to decide whether to maintain things as they are, move towards separation, or commit to working on the relationship through couples counselling.

It's never too early to seek help for your relationship.

When problems are pushed into the background, they can build a rift between you that at some point may be too wide to recover. Our counselling gives you the tools to engage more respectfully, so you can rebuild connection, trust and intimacy.
