We may collect and retain personal and other information about you when you complete and submit an on-line enquiry or make an appointment, and when you engage in our counselling services. We at Counselling Resolutions understand that information collected about you and your relationships is important to you. We realise this information can sometimes be sensitive, and we take our commitment to privacy seriously.

Collection & Use of Submitted Information

We will only use or disclose information about you in ways that are consistent with your expectations.

Your email address, contact numbers and other submitted information through an on-line enquiry form will only be used for the purpose for which it is provided. After your enquiry has been submitted, we will make contact with you and answer any queries or make any appointments as requested. Once an appointment has been made, your information will then be transferred into our client database. If no appointments are made and contact is completed, we will delete your personal information from our records unless you authorise us otherwise.

If you decide to personally engage with our services, you will be asked to read and sign a Consent Form acknowledging our terms of engagement and authorising how we may use your personal information in the course of our business.

With your authorisation, we may also add contact information to our mailing list data base to communicate with you regarding our services or any other reasonable purpose connected with the operation of our business. Clients are able to opt out of receiving such material at any time by unsubscribing through the specified channels. We will not use or disclose submitted information for any other purpose.

We will not sell submitted information to third parties or intentionally disclose submitted information to third parties unless you have consented to such disclosure.

Security & Confidentiality

Counselling Resolutions recognises that all personal information collected is private and confidential. We will take reasonable steps to implement and maintain security precautions. However, we are unable to guarantee that unauthorised access to information submitted to us will not occur, either during transmission of that information or after we receive that information.

If we no longer require your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to permanently destroy or de-identify that information.
